A sales executive who combines strong leadership skills along with coaching tactics with real world knowledge and experience to assess required organizational change that facilitates growth. Rick’s extensive background in transformational sales growth strategies, execution and team building has driven needed change in small to large organizations, including creating winning sales processes, focused on consultative and relationship-based selling.
Rick’s 30-year career has seen him leading Canadian divisions for multinationals based in Japan (Matsushita Group), France, (Schneider), USA (Emerson), and Germany (Phoenix Contact). During the recessionary years of 2009 – 2011 Rick took on a role as General Manager for a system integration firm where he led the team through change by the implementation of a successful balanced scorecard initiative, turning the organization profitable once again including creating new revenue streams to new industry verticals and then successfully completing the sale of the organization to a larger firm (JMP Engineering).
In 2017 Rick left the corporate world to continue his passions for leading organizations to realize their growth potential and created Peak Performance Leadership. Further passions include speaking and presenting, including his keynotes ``Leadership – Your Way”, based on his chapter in a recently released book entitled Dynamo Diaries V2, Success Stories. Further keynotes include “The Evolution of the Customer” where Rick shares the four generations involved in today's buying process, and the impact advancements in technology.

Rick lives in Niagara region 30 minutes from Toronto, and has two adult sons Evan (an aspiring musician and graduate of renowned MetalWorx musical institute in Toronto and Max (applying his master’s degree in social work from UofT as a consultant to individuals and school boards) whom Rick coached in competitive hockey for many years with them reaching the ranks of
University and Jr A levels of competition.
